Day 292: The Verve – Urban Hymns

OK. So I was going to listen to the Verve while getting ready to go to a festival to see Richard Ashcroft, the main singer, songwriter and rhythm guitarist of the Verve. The plan was to get ready and listen to their album Urban Hymns before heading out and do a little write-up, but then I got distracted by a number of wild goose chases.

So unfortunately I didn’t get to do what I planned. I did listen to Urban Hymns, and I did love it. I very much wished that I’d listened to it when I had time to focus on it. I enjoyed the lyrics and the lush instrumentation. Nevertheless, this is the best I can do for now, writing-wise. I mistimed it. To my reader(s?), I am sorry. But I got carried away.
